Educators, in just a few short days you may be enjoying a healthy dose of nutrients with family and friends! It’s a great time to be thankful so the ScootPad team is also getting ready to enjoy the short break. Check out some updates to the platform and what to expect as far as support hours for the holiday.
1) New Target RIT scores in the MAP Learning Path Generator!
MAP + ScootPad= Learning Path Perfection. If your students take the MAP interim assessments, go ahead and plug in their RIT scores in the Learning Path Generator. We’ve had hundreds of users already try this out and they LOVE it! Just ask @JenFranks8 who tweeted about it the other day. Thanks Jen! In the most recent release, target RIT scores reflect NWEA Fall, Winter and Spring Norms which ensures your students get just the right challenge. Set your students up before you leave and get them working on individualized, prescriptive paths targeting the specific skills required for optimal growth on the next interim assessment! Take a look at this quick 2-minute video where we walk through the process!
2) Grade level tag meets assessments!
Grab a cup of coffee and be amazed as this is a game changer for sure! Earlier in the school year we unveiled the new grade level tag and our suite of over 15,000 assessments available for teachers and admins to launch right out of the box. In this release, we’ve given admins the ability to see the grade of the classroom when assigning an assessment! Thanks to Lauren at Rockford Public Schools, in MI and Shari Munno, at Canfield Local schools in Ohio for these 2 suggestions!
3) Quickly assign a Learning Path to specific classrooms!
Major shout out to ACCEL admins in Cleveland, Ohio! When Kristy and Renee needed to assign custom district Learning Paths to close to 300 classrooms, the ScootPad team decided to work on enhancing and streamlining this ability. Thanks to their suggestion, admins can easily filter by grade level and assign Learning Paths in a few clicks. Check out this short 1 minute video walking through the process. Thanks ladies 🙂
4) Thanksgiving Break Support hours
Turkey, tofurkey, cranberry sauce, mashed cauliflower, pizza, whatever you will be dining on during the Thanksgiving break, have fun and enjoy the time with family and friends! The entire ScootPad team will be out as well starting Wednesday, November 27th and will return on Monday, December 2nd. During the break, you can send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org and a team member will respond once we return.
We hope you’ll enjoy these new improvements to maximize your learning impact and save time every day! Please continue to send us your feedback – no matter how small or trivial – that is how you can help us improve ScootPad.
