We’re super excited to release the PARCC simulation assessments for grades 3-8 in Math and English Language Arts (ELA). We developed these simulation assessments from the ground-up and to align them precisely with the PARCC blueprints. That means the simulation tests will include the same technology enhanced item formats, rigor, depth of knowledge (DOK) and Common Core standards expected to be on the PARCC assessments. These practice assessments will help educators predict skill and concept gaps in advance while helping ensure that students are ready for the big test.
Educators can choose these ready-made simulation assessments and with one-click assign them to their students. District and school administrators can “push” these assessments school-wide or district-wide to all students with just a few clicks. Students can experience the simulated PARCC summative testing environment simply by launching the task from their dashboard. Educators have immediate access to assessment results and reports providing actionable insights about skill gaps and overall student readiness.
Teachers are encouraged to assign interim assessments using the Assessment Generator before taking the PARCC simulated test. Furthermore, educators can build their own assessments and create their own questions using 50+ technology-enhanced item formats to develop their very own PARCC simulation tests.
To access the PARCC simulation assessments, go to the Open Platform Page under Assessments 2.0 as shown below:
Review assessments and blueprints and proceed with one-click assignment to students as shown below:
